Afternight is a versatile drag-and-drop layout builder theme intended to power blog / magazine, concerts, night clubs and places sites.
You can use the template builder to display any content type you wish on any page: category posts, tags, banners, boxes, team groups, testimonials, latest or featured post, widgets, even individual posts.
The built-in layout builder lets you can choose the number of columns for your archive pages, open posts via AJAX, choose pagination or “load more”, sort posts by date, comments, ascending or descending, etc. Overall, there are 3 layout variations: grid-view, thumb-view and list-view
Enable the “Like” feature to let users easily access faved posts and raise their rating. When a certain post reaches the limit of 50 likes it will become featured. The like limit can be changed from backend while the number of likes for all posts can be randomly generated.

With Post Formats, the new approach allows Afternight to define a Post Format and then be selected in the Publish meta box when saving the post: standard – text post; gallery – a gallery of images; image – a single image; video – a single video; audio – multiple audio file
